I'm looking for some engine bars and they all seem very similar in design. I don't want BMW OE bars as last lot pushed into cam cover when it went over.

One criteria is that servicing can be done with bars in place.

TIA

I used Givi but they would need removing if the cam covers had to come off. No big deal really only 5 bolts. Best thing about them apart from price (£200) is the fact they have four mounting spots unlike the oem or some other makes.

I have the same dilemma re crash bars but believe SW Motech say that servicing can be carried out with the bars in place. That's the route I'm inclined to go - unless someone knows otherwise???

i have the Wunderlich ones, feel really solid and there's a bit of weight to them

I’ve gone for the touratech bars, easy to fit/remove and seem really solid.

You can get these support bars for the OEM bars.
