Engine bars

Having recently dropped my GS and scatching the rocker cover etc I've invested in some Heed engine bars off ebay fitted them yesterday and the left hand side is just touching the top srew on the rocker cover where the left side is not but very close i have check everything twice and im pretty sure that ive fitted them properly is there any concern over them slightly touching the screw/cover

Aftermarket crash bars some fit great some need a tweak to get the best fit I would look at adjusting the fit with a bit of bending to equal them up

Yes may look at putting some extras washers in but they are extremely well made and definitely wont bend

Mine needed to be fettled a bit to clear the cylinder heads... you get a surprising amount of noise if they touch. Well worth making sure they are clear.

Yes just tried letting off the nuts and sorting buts its gone back into the same position going to have to pack it out with a couple of washers
