Having mangled my (made of chocolate) Adv bars in a spill at weekend. I'm looking for a more robust replacement.
I've been on the H&B and Motobins websites but all the 1150 listed bars state not for Adv with large tank.
Now I've looked through "bar" threads on here and I note that Mike O and others have H&B bars fitted.
How have you managed this giuys with your big tanks?

I've got Wunderlich engine bars fitted to my 1150GS, no clearance problems with the Adventure tank I fitted recently.

Motorworks do Hepco & Becker - there are two types. Std 1150 & Adv version. £110 for the Adv ones when I got them. Fit no problem (but read Simon Easom's instructions before fitting)

As far as I know, the H&B reference to 'not for 31l tank' refers to the (optional) top part of the bars (which fit around the front of the tank and headlight). I can't remember specifying my bike as an Adv when I ordered my H&Bs...

I have just fitted H and B bars to my 03 Adv and all is well. The annoying thing is that you can't rremove the rocker covers without first removing the bars - how irritating!

Good bars though and only £112 from Motorworks

You can. I've managed it and I'm definitely no mechanical genius, it's just a little fiddly.
