Engine life?

Hi

I owned an f650 about 4 years ago, and may buy another soon.

What kind of miles can the engine rack up? IN my budget I'm probably looking at 18k to 26k on the odo.

ive done 40,000 on my in two and half years which makes a total of 44,000 and it runs better every day and I have just booked it in for new spark plugs and valve's set and I change the oil and filter every 5000 miles and it has never let me down . It better keep goin cos I cant afford another one yet !! Would I have another ? yes !! But when I finally have another it is going to be a ST800 BMW One in Autotrader last week 07 plate 73,000 miles on the clock .......Happy days !!

Tther,s a guy on the 650 forum in the process of rebuilding a 650gs with close to 200000 on the engine , he was saying that the honing marks are still visible.

Girlfriend Sue (Gracie on here) racked up 80,000 + miles on her single spark model before it was written off
