Engine Number

Hi All,

Firstly sorry for posting this mesage in two differnt forums, but I was not sure where to post it.

I need your advice.

I have nearly sealed the deal on an 1150GS, but it is not registered in the UK yet so I am trying to insure it on the chassis number, so I can ride it to the local VRO.

I spoke to the seller today who gave me the following numbers

Chassis number - 1ZE26669.
Engine number - 22034053.

Do these look right?

They seem a little on the short side.

Hi David,
There is a site where type in your engine number and details come up on the engine, another member post it a while back cant remember the web address but try search on this site you should find it, also why not phone a BMW dealer most are very helpful try South London Motorcycles or search for member called "Parklife" hes in the trade.
