Hi all,ive got a 2000 650 Dakar and the paint on the engine has done its usual peeling trick....does anyone know the code for the colour? or is it a BMW dealer visit? Any help,advise will be greatly appreciated.
i just bought high temp alu paint from halfords and that done the job

my flaking was undermeath the engine so it was hidden anway so would be awkward get pic

i made sure it was sanded down to base metal and that the surrounding paint was sanded down too and was not peeling off. then cleaned it to remove grease and painted it on.
not it worked but i thnk i did not clean it off fully as some area the paint did come off again but others it stuck straight on no bother. so washing proplerly with alcohol would be best
