My bike has developed it's first problem. When i hit 3 bars temp power is reduced and i can't accelerate and max speed is around 50mph. A few moments later there is a power kick then back to normal.

It's the same stretch of road on my daily commute and its either a time delay after starting bike or temp related.

1150gs 2002. Due 24,000 service.

Cheers,

Andy

Strange.

Just an idea...........

Make sure your brakes aren't seizing by feeling the disc when the 'power loss ' occurs.

Don't why they should suddenly free up but sometimes strange shit happens.

Just a suggestion, no idea if it'll make a difference

Try unplugging the temp sensor on top of the airbox before you go through this GS "bermuda triangle" area , and see if it makes a difference.

Even stranger, it only happens one way on a certain stretch of road! I wonder if the place has been irradiated or something.

It's the road leading out of Harpenden towards Luton. Weird.

Wind always in the same direction? I reckon your waterproofs are getting suckied into the air intake :D Actually have you checked the airbox for small furry mammals?
