Engine stainless steel splash plate
Some time ago I came across a UK based company selling a stainless steel plate that fixed in front of the engine - same height as the exhaust cross pipe. Now I cannot find the website.
Can anyone help please?

Hi, thanks.
However I one I am trying to locate was a vertical plate held on by extra long bolts which also holds the alternator belt cover on. It would stop stones / mud etc from hitting the cross pipe and front engine plate. They did it for the 1100 /1150 and 1200 GS(A).

My thinking is that it would stop the front plate from corroding. However I only have a hazy memory of it and it could look like cr*p.
Cheers

Hi SMB,it's moto-ap had one on for a while, keeps the clarts in check.Aldy

I've put one on ,but not a bought one ,made it myself from a bit of stainless sheet. I think its a good idea and stops the front cover getting chipped etc.
