Can this be done? I'm probably being a muppet but I can't find a way of doing it in either Mapsource or direct into the unit.

Entering grid ref in Mapsource/2610

I presume you mean an OS Grid Ref?
If so you can't enter directly on 2610 but in Mapsource Edit/Preferences and the Position "tab" - choose Grid: British National Grid

Hi Clive - yes, I mean OS grid ref. I've got British National Grid selected. I guess I now make a new waypoint and enter the OS grid ref there?
Shame you can't enter directly on the 2610. You can in the one I've got in my landrover, which came in very handy when I had to go and retrieve by brother and his £40k BMW 5 series from last weeks floods..
