Steering head bearings can be a problem, even at very low mileages, otherwise buy it as you see it

If it looks well cared for and clean then you shouldn't have a problem.

Done 47,000 miles on mine now, Sue did 80,000 plus on her old one before she wrote it off

I think theres one on the for sale/wanted section at the moment
Its very clean and very well looked after, Im sure if you pmd the owner he would email some pics for you. Ive heard it was bought from this site only three months ago from a guy who allways had it serviced at a bmw garage and has all the bills/receipts from new. I believe the guy who owns it is only selling it to get a bigger gs from this site cos hes tried tall seats/low seats lowered footpegs, even sitting on the pillion seat but he just cant get comfy. I think hes even selling it at the same price he bought it at, to help another gser get on the road. Or so ive heard....................
