Any good? Thoughts? Costs? - non heated variety.....

I'm having a bit of a fall out with the STD seat on the 1050....

I have found the ergo set up a distinct improvement over standard but you do sit a few mm higher on lower setting so be aware if your reach to ground already marginal!

Twizz can feck right off, I'm keeping them (Amanda loves the pillon seat so I use it when two up).

The Ergo's seem to get good reports Twizzle.

I got a Seat Concepts 'complete' (i.e. not a kit, but it's the only seat they do that's not a kit AFAIK) seat for mine. No issues with the standard one piece seat but I thought I'd see if it could be improved upon. Whilst not initially convinced, now that I'm used to it and it's broken in I'm very happy with it.

They do 'kits' (foam and cover) for the two piece seat, standard and 'tall' versions which could be good for you? Also, you can order separate kits for each seat so no need to feck with the pillion seat if you don't want to LINKY HERE.

Big improvement IMO. non-heated riders seat is approx. £140 i think.

i have the heated Ergo front seat. i've found it a big improvement over the 1190 and 1190R OEM seats, and even better with a sheepskin over it (not in looks though).

it's never been wired in. a heated seat on an 1190? clearly the marketing department that thought that one up had never ridden one

Ergo front and rear seats ordered and a set of Pivot Pegz on the way..... here's hoping a few ergonomic tweaks will sort things out... I'm really getting onto the rest of the package, so if I can just sort the seat I'll be good to go.... or it will..... I do wonder if on the 1050 seat costs have been cut just a little too far.......

Seat arrives Thursday.... so lets see how it goes!
