Just copied this from one of my news sites Beware.

""By Paul Hales: Wednesday 03 December 2003, 15:44

IF YOU'RE TEMPTED to open an email from "Wendy" promising to detail her encounter with Greg's twin brother and his unfeasibly large todger, think again.
Opening the attached Zip file unleashes a malevolent worm that seeks to launch denial of service attacks on spambusting outfits SpamHaus, Spamcop and others. The worm, W32/Mimail-L, spreads via email using addresses harvested from the hard drive of the infected computer, according to anti-virus company Sophos.

If the initial mail fails, the worm sends another which contains the text:
Good afternoon, We are going to bill your credit card for amount of $22.95 on a weekly basis. Free pack of child porn CDs is already on the way to your billing address. If you want to cancel membership and your CD pack please email order and credit card details to [email protected]

Sheesh!

just go to www.grisoft.com , download the free version of AVG and set it to auto update every day - I've been using this product for a while it has kept all viri at bay.

It is not difficult, or expensive, to avoid virus infections

Perhaps posting helpful information rather than scaremongering would be more constructive, eh gazza?

Not me

Not scaremongering mate just letting you know if your not interested ignore it. Not all zip files are recognised as viruses !!

Without wanting to get on my soapbox, on the website under "Systems Not Affected" is Linux. My laptop is now dual-boot Windows 2000 and Linux and I find myself using Linux more and more every day. It will be a long time before the children's PC runs anything other than Windoze but I'm close to being weaned off completely.
