ESA sticking 08 12GSA

My ESA has stuck in one position on two different occasions. Seems to like NORM better than anything else, pressing the ESA button won't budge it. Turn off engine and turn on again and it works OK. It's only happened twice so far so not a big problem and might be able to wait until next service and it's probably a software fault. Anyone else experienced this?

Happened again today (3rd time). I noticed straight away because the bike suspension was very harsh as if no damping was being applied which suggests that the ESA just hasn't activated. Also pressing the ESA button will not move the setting from NORM (where I'd left it last night).

There's no rhyme nor reason for it, I just started the bike with the usual routine this morning. The cure was to pull over and switch the ignition off and on and ESA works again as normal.

It's still a minor niggle that a dealer will have to look at sooner or later.

this wouldnt be a minor niggle for me. I have only really used the comfort to sport mode with mine. Not touched the off road settings. However I would be taking yours back to the dealer
