That looks like a very good bike, I would be interested in where the screen came from as it looks a bit taller than the standard PD screen without looking too ugly.

Bubles, Valker, The screen is a Wudu screen for the PD. I know this cos I bought it from Redboots, put it on my gs. It works a treat too, far better than the original screen. I then decided to completely revamp my bikes front end and offered the screen on the site for what I paid for it. Big jets bought it and it does look good on the bike. I spotted it immediately as it has a piece of velcro attached to the top left hand side ,gawd knows what for..

Feck, just been reading up on twin plugging ( as fitted to my PD )....looks a minefield I suppose if it is running OK ( not tried a snow run on it yet ) then all is OK...apparently it doesn't like to tick-over until warmed up though
As soon as weather warms up ( engaged with Dragon Rally this week etc ) I'll give her a good service and see how she repsonds then !!

I did three Dragon Rallies back in the mid '60s.

Blowing a gale the first year.

Drowned out on the second.

Deep snow on the third.

It took me 11 hours to get from Taunton to Llanberis in the snow on my 350 AJS - laden with camping gear.

Of course, I was in my early 20s then

Is it still held in the dis-used Army Camp (with zero facilities) ?

I have the pin badges on my old 'Rally hat', and a red Dragon scarf somewhere.

Look2 me like the screen is 46-63-87-00 at €99 and 46-63-87-02 for the bracket set at €139 which seems a bit steep to me.

It would also mean Pastyman and I under-sold it

Ok Redboots as you say it looks a bit steep if you need both parts may have to scour Ebay instead, thanks again for the info .

Reasonably priced by todays shocking ( read robbing ) prices....my BWM OE 'slipstream deflector' with its 4 X 5 mm bolt fixing kit and paint = £200
Only doing it the once...I'll ride around naked in future
