Well took deliv ery of Evoline3 and well chuffed with it. Light as my Shoei, very comfy and so easy to flip from full face to open. Headed out next wkend to the stelvio so should have a pretty good idea of what its about after that.

Really want to mention the excellent service I got from Mick Byrne's. Not only did I get 10% off (use code sharkride) but after i realised i had ordered wrong size a quick phone call had everything sorted out, and helmet was special delivered very next day foc!!!! I'll definintely be using them again!

I had the same discount, very happy with Mick Byrnes service, and I really like the Evo 3 too, it's a great lid!

What colour did you get?

Matt black and 'silver' .. looks even better in the flesh than in the pic's i think.

Sorry for taking so long to reply but was only back from road trip for couple of days before heading out to Magaluf for my stag do :jager :barf

Can't remember much about that but the evoline is bloody brilliant :thumb

Any more reports on this guys - thinking of buying one but read some bad reports so not sure :rob

Far as i can work out bad reviews mainly from weight of previous Series 1 and 2 models. The series 3 is lighter and I love it. Using the open face way more than I expected, especially with recent weather

There are so few reviews of the 3 series online - I had the evo 1 which was a great concept but flawed with a quickly scratching visor and it leaked like a sieve! Went for the evo 2 then in lumi which has solved those issues but is still a bit heavy - then they go and bring out the 3!

I'm sorely tempted to get one, just wish I could find a dealer round here that actually has them in stock in a shop

Shark Evoline

Just got the Evo 3 Century KWA.Had the MK1 version but dropped it and the chin bar fell apart after that. Ordered from it Mick Byrne, great price and delivered a couple of days later. My BMW Enduro is a size 58 and was tight to start with but has freed up with use to an acceptable level. Ordered a 57-58 with Mick who said if it was too tight to send it back and he would replace it, can't say fairer than that. Trying it on for the first time it was tight but comfortable. It seems slightly noisier than my Enduro even with the chin bar and visor down, but I feel that it's a small price to pay so that you can go touring with a helmet that can be open face or full face depending on the weather. It didn't feel heavy or feel as if my neck muscles were having to work hard with the wind, mind you I do have a Cee Baileys screen. The sun visor is brilliant and seems to come down further than on the MK1 version. With a 5 year guarantee it seems a very good buy.:thumb2

This Mick Byrne shop seems to get a good rep so maybe I'll try there :bounce1
