Exhaust compatability, 1988 - 1993

Hi (again),

I have been offered (price to be arranged) a set of used downpipes and cat from a 1993 bike. Will this fit my 1988 bike, or can I use the downpipes with the nice new y-piece fitted to my bike?

I promise to get the hang of this at some point.

No cat was ever fitted to UK spec bikes. The downpipes are the same for 1988 as the 1993 jobbies...all will intermix

Balancer box is genuinely the best option if in good nick........I may even take the Y piece off your hands should you wish to recoup a midges of the vast sums of cash you are about to deposit into bumblebee
