Hi Y'all,

I'm in the process of converting my lads 2005 Honda CRF250R for road use. An exhaust that will satisfy an MOT test is presenting a bit of an issue. I know that since 2004 pipes don't need to be marked with the British Kite (BS) or a EU stamp and so long as the noise output is "reasonable" the kindly MOT man should be OK with it. However, if the pipe is marked "For Track Use Only" or "Not for Public Road Use" it will instantly fail - even if it's whisper quiet. The FMF Q4 pipe is my best chance I think, but I can't find out how or if the pipe is marked - tried the importers, tried the manufacturers (a week ago - heard nothing since), tried various vendors etc etc. Anybody out there with the knowledge???

Cheers.

I had one on a DR 650 it was very lightly marked as Not for road Use but some fine wet and dry soon made it road legal.
