What are good exhausts in terms of travelling?

- Not that much noise, though a bit louder than stock would be nice in better security terms.

- A bit better low-down torque would be nice

- No KAT (will be "poisoned" with leaded)

- Lambda sensor (is there exhaust w/o Kat but with Lambda(O2) sensor?, or it's better idea to disconnect the sensor coz it'll be poisoned with leaded as well!?)

- Lighter weight

- Not that expensive(?)

What you'd have in mind? Remus, Serbing?

Thanks in advance, Margus

i use a remus titanium grand prix yes its a little louder but when you cruse
past a wall or tunnel and hear the twin bark jasus tis worth it also increases
power a little

Thanks mates!

No quick plans, just maybe for the future.

So far i checked not many manufacture exhaust for 1100GS - Serbing, Remus, GPR (dunno anything about this company), Leo Vince, anything else?

Scorpion Titanium on my R1200GS, not sure if they do one for the 1100 Margus, maybe worth a look. Very light, corrosion proof, nice noise, not too loud.

Wiley co one that i put on for Lachinch

by FAR the loudest exhaust you'll hear on an 1100... ask anyone behind me :D

the up side it is very light the down side is it loses some torque.. but seems to rev quicker

Great sound if you hear it coming from a mile or so away on a still night fully lit :D :D

Why not fit the silencer from a R1100RS? The RS engine makes more power than the GS, so the silencer should be a bit more free-flowing, plus for travelling, you could fit the larger RS left-hand pannier.
The left-hand pillion bracket needs modifying to accept the RS pannier and a bracket has to be made to support the silencer as it's obviously lower than the GS item.
RS silencers seems to fetch about 100€ on eBay.
(Yes, I'm using one!)
