BMW Devitt insurance gave me a very good quote , but e-Bike were even better. Devitt make no charge for switching to a dealer's loan bike , which saved me £22 on top of the last service , which evens it out somewhat.
Has anyone had experience with a claim with e-Bike as I understand that they are a Gibraltar based company.
Their blurb says that you are recommended to use their network of approved repairers. Does this include BMW dealers?

Thanks for any information and Seasons Greetings.

ebike

Just changed to ebike as premiums third of hastings direct and more cover. Found Hastings direct to be crap when I wrote off GS 2005

They might prefer you to use a 'preferred repair shop' but you can, in fact, insist that a repair is carried out at a garage of your choice.

And it's no hassle to add a loan bike to your policy for the day ...... last time I did it, there was no charge.

E-bike.

I changed my insurance last year to e-bike, a lot cheaper, I was with Hastings when I got knocked off....... been riding for over 15yrs and have never before made a claim, .. the the horror of making a claim through Hastings was truely shocking suffice to say one year later its still not sorted.
Hopefully e-bike when I need them will be better but at the end of the day its a bit of paper with terms and conditions.

I've been with E-Bike for two years now; loads cheaper than Bennets who i was with previously. Absolutely no hassle with setting up my policy, they even dealt with all the paperwork relating to my ncd from Bennets. And they were about 30% cheaper than anyone else too! Not had to claim yet but dont wanna tempt fate....!! :angel
