Help please

I have been looking at the previous threads on this topic. Just wonder if anyone has a piccy of the beak mounting before I make a mess of anything

Mike,

Sorry but I don't have a piccy, will try and do one over the weekend, but what I have done is buy the "dashdoard" from boxer design (£60.00 from memory) and mounted my axillery sockets on that, along with the alarm led, the autoswitch led.
It looks a standard fitment, whilst keeping everything tidy.

hope it helps,

Andrew

Jenks:

Been thinking about the Boxer-Design cockpit cover for some time as I've always disliked the rather untidy appearance of the 1150. Please post pictures!

I'll see when you post, but did you have yours colour cordinated? How substantial is it? It looks a bit flimsy. Does it rub or catch anywhere with movement from the bike when the cockpit "bounces" occasionally? Are there any "creaks" and "squeaks"?

Looks as if it's an easy 5-minute fit. Yes?

Simon,

I have bought a few Boxer design stuff over the past few months,
and I haven't been dissappointed yet, although I think that they frustrate Moterworks with late diliveries etc. But I have'nt had any problems as long as you don't want it tomorrow.

I am really pleased with the dash, it's resonably thick glass-fiber so it doesn't flex. I have always done my own painting, as I am told there's takes ages. (should be easy as yours is blue)(Motorworks aerosol).
Mine is Grafatan, and the color match is reasonably good.

Fitting is a doddle, 2 holes to drill, comes with nice rould headed hex bolts. I put widow insultation between the clocks and dash(it cannot be seen) to stop any rattles and this seems to work although I'm not convinced that is was nessary. I bought mine with the therometer, which only works in C and as I am old, work in F,

Hope that helps
