Because of an "oversight" on my part, I have double booked myself for the 28th. So I'll not be able to make it either.

Pity I won't be there on Wednesday for and scintillating intercourse of the social kind, but I'll be across La Manche on route to Lugano for the start of my revised trip. For those unaware, a couple of problems (tenants setting light to my house and surgery complications!) have meant that I can't now make the trip all the way down to South Africa, so I'm riding to the Turkey/Syria border with the other two guys and then spending a couple weeks in Turkey solo before heading back for a winter of re-furbishing my house and preparing for another "big one" Life's a pisser sometimes, but sh-t happens don't it? By the way, I'm calling the revised trip the "Phoenix Tour" for obvious reasons
