With the 4th Thursday almost upon us a quick heads-up that our regular haunt, The Plough Inn @ Eynsford is closed for renovation for a few months - so we are relocating to The Pied Bull, Farningham until further notice.

See you there from 7.30 onwards and don't rely on their being food available!!

Thanks to the select few who did turn up - I think you'll agree we had a giggle so much so though I only expected to stay for an hour or so none of us left until the 'glasses please' bell rang.

The Pied Bull was warm inviting and chav free, and the bar staff were very distracting, the kitchen was open and the food good and plentiful.

A special thanks to Nick who took the trouble to tell me it was minus 2 when we left for home - I'm equally pleased the poor old sod could actually read the display :D

Some people just can't seem to draw themselves away from little screens in empty rooms for anything involving meeting real people in real places - their loss :augie

:( I lost a day this week somehow....I wuz convinced it was Wednesday yesterday until I spoke to Robin on the phone....by which time I'd already started me second tinny having completed my tax return :(

Sounds like the pub's a good'un though :thumb

I consider myself truly admonished (and guilty as charged) and will make the effort next time:o

Guilty

I was also loking forwazrd to trying the "new" boozer as thelas time I went the plough was shut (subtle hint I thought!). But a kind gent brought my petrol tank and I took it over the water to meet him (Thames) and was too late back for the pub. Sounds like it's been a good move and I look forward to next month.
