F650 GS Software Update

Have a 01 Dakar.
Was having a few problem with stalling & surging.
Got BMW to complete a software update on it, and now it appears to be okay. (I believe pre Jan 01 bikes suffer from this, due to software)
Cost € 60.00 & took less than an hour, so well worth it. (they washed the bike as well)

I agree with the post above should have been done for free If there was enough of a problem to require BMW to remap the ECU then they are admitting a fault!

Besides you plug it into the GT1 and start the prog and check the screen while you do something else 30 ~ 40 mins later and it's all done

Done at Joe Duffy's.... dealt with Andrew....
Had the bike out yesterday for a quick spin, and all seems to be okay & running nicely. Heading to Cork in a few weeks, so that'll really tell if it all sorted
