F650 headlight needed...

Got back from a ride today to find a great big crack all the way across my headlight. Great!

A quick call to Bahnstormers, and it turns out I can't just buy replacement glass (of course not) and the price for a new headlight unit is £267. Does anyone know a good source of these kinds of parts? Nippy Normans don't seem to do it.

Try Motorworks...

/and if you do get sorted and the reflector is intact on yours I might be interested in it.

(am I the only one to have to reflector starting to blacken and bubble just above the bulb?)

Oh well, Motorworks didn't have a 2nd hand one, and were no cheaper than BMW for a new part, so I picked one up from Bahnstormers today. Very easy to fit, and I can now see why they don't sell just the glass it's a completely sealed unit. On the plus side, I now have 2 spare bulbs!
