F650 & Zumo 550

OK any of you technical types out there who can help me with a mounting problem?
My lad has an F650 and is about to purchase a Zumo 550 for our trip to France this June. He wants to mount the 550 in the area between the nose cowl and an aftermarket tall screen so that the display is in his line of sight. - Well at the bottom of it!
Has anyone attempted this yet and if so any pics, advice, or instruction manual would be gratefully received.

I don't think there's anything 'off the shelf' that will do it.This thread
has some pictures of the one I made for a Quest on my Dakar,it might give you some ideas.

Thanks Tony - a great 'starter for ten' for the Zumo. What is a Qpac?

QPAC- Quest Power and Audio Cable.It converts the bike's 12v to 5v to power the Quest and has a lead to supply audio to helmet speakers or autocom etc.

You have to go to a dealer and quote the part number to be able to buy the part.
