Hello

I hope it's ok to post here.

I'm a freelance journalist doing an article on the F650GS for one of the main bike magazines.

I'm hoping someone who owns one of these bikes could help me by being part of the article in the form of an 'I bought one' box.

It'd involve either a five minute phone call (I can call you) or sending me an email or two answering some questions about your bike and what it's been like to live with.

Ideally we'd like to include a picture of you as well.

So... can anyone help? If so, could you email me at [email protected] please? Ideally include a phone number I can reach you on but if you'd rather not it can be done easily by email.

Is that fairly clear? If not, please feel free to ask any questions you wish.

Many thanks.

Tim

Hi there TRC

I bought one... now done over 50,000 miles. Ridden it, with the girfriend on her own 650GS, through Russia, Siberia, Mongolia, Gobi Desert and in to China. Arrested and thrown out back in to Mongolia so returned The Long Way Home via all the Stans.... and we were both nudgin' 60 years of age...

Six months, 19,300 miles figure of eight double crossing of Asia without back up

Full story and plenty piccies on www.adventure.gs

Hi Micky, hope your keeping well mate. Just looked uo your trip, looked as though you both enjoyed it!

We met in Belgium when my 650GS broke, couple of years back now. I'm on a 1200GS now. Best bike i've ever owned. Tried the ADV but not tall enough!

Cheers,

Steve.

Many thanks to all those who contacted me. What a great community the GS bikes have.

Mick will be in the article as he's done lots of exciting things with his bike. I can't say for sure which issue it'll be in (I'm a freelance writer) but I think it'll be the April or May issue of RiDE.

Thanks again to everyone for replying. :clap
