Hello F650GS'ers , can you help here ?
When we got my wife's 2002 GS it had the top box & mounting plate fitted, I have since acquired "the large silver piece" that covers the tail piece (where you access the seat release) that I assume would have been fitted as standard. When I came to remove the top box / rack & fit the newly acquired piece yesterday all was going well until I tried to fit the lock barrel I removed from the smaller (top box / rack plate) tail piece that was already fitted but they appear different , does anybody know what the solution is (maybe buy a different lock barrel ?). I assumed they would have been interchangeable as most people would be adding a top box & retain the existing lock barrel.
