Ok...... I gave in and called Archie (a dealer). It's actually one of these with new forks and some news panels due to accident damage. It's a German import.

PS The seller was very upfront about the previous damage.

Called up the other day to him for a chat I wouldn't really call him a dealer as he operates from his house. More a bike collector then a seller but he does shift the odd bike. Saw the BMW there and thought someone might be interested. Hasn't got those fairings. Only a half fairing that looks original. Bike looks very straight although apparently repaired which I hadn't know.

Still might interest someone.
