Hi, I am looking at the US-20 tail pack for my 800GS and not sure if it will fit on my seat as it looks like it is designed for a sportsbike flat type seat pad.

Anyone using one on thier 800gs and be kind to post a picture?

I love my R25 back pack, such good quality and a british company. :)

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim,

I use one and it is a fantastic bit of kit. Used all winter daily on my commute.

I used to use it with the standard F800gs seat and it fitted fine. I then bought a G-IT via adv spec rear rack plate to attach it too for no other reason other than bling to be honest.

Sorry no photo's.

They're Universal

I also have a Kriega R25, and loved it so much I went and splurged on a U30 and US10 with a tank mounting system. They remove in seconds, and are universal fitting so they fit any bike. They both fit perfectly on my 04 Dakar so you should have no problem on the F800:thumb2.

I also love the way I can attach the two together an put both on the back of the bike, or I can attach the US10 on the R25. I'd say if you can afford it go for the US30 instead of the US20...... You won't regret it.

If you're still unsure check out their website.

I use a Kriega 10 and 20 on the standard seat - no problems. The bags are not full as you can see but the fit well empty or full or somewhere in between. I've only had this bike for a month or so (1300 miles) but have used them for the last 700 miles full and almost empty on fast and slow roads with no problems.

Hi Ross

thanks for taking the time to take the photos, much appreciated.

Cheers

+1 for the US-5, US-10 and US-20, between myself and CrazyCaz we've got all sizes, and they fit just fine, and work really well. Recommended. :thumb2

Here are a couple of images of the Kriega 20 with two 10s attached ... and a rather large roll bag on top. It was actually a very stable arrangement (Scotland 2008).

I wasn't sure about them at the shop as the straps look a bit thin and weak .. compared to say the Oxford Products tail pack or the touratech seat pack ..

However they were superb when in actual use. Strap it tight (which is easy to do) and they stay on without any movement. Good amount of space inside. Totally waterproof (15 minute downpour plus getting splashed by lorry!).

Definitely a recommendation. Used the R20 rucksack, thought it was nothing special in non-biking use. However on the bike, it is just so comfortable even fully loaded.
