F800gs gearbox sprocket

Does anyone know if a gearbox sprocket on a 650/700 twin will fit a 800. The reason I ask is that the 700/650 is 1 tooth bigger and I would like to raise the gearing. Or is there another way? JJH

Same engine, so of course it will

I just wasn't too sure if the 650 /700 used a smaller chain ie 520 instead of 525 thanks. JJH

OK, that maybe the only difference - chain pitch

I've done this on my 800 for a while and so have several others, including the esteemed Micky

Makes it just a tad less 'frantic' and more comfortable at motorway speeds.

Definitely recommended

Yes, def worth the change ... more relaxed on a motorway with no downsides
