Hi, has anyone tried to alter the gearing, I have a long trip planned around the black sea, with a lot of motorway work to Turkey, it feels a little buzzy at 80 mph, thinking about maybe a rear sproket 2 teeth les, or the other option is a 17th front, available at the TT site.
Any advice and feed back will be welcome, Martin

Motorworks.co.uk do a 15th front.

However I think you might need the fuel mapping changed..

Would love to know the difference in 17/15th front sprocket. As 16th is default

Hi Paddy. Slighly confused as to why he would need to remap the fuelling? How does the gearing effect fuelling? Or is it poor fuel in Turkey?

ref gearing

a 15th fron sproket reduces the gearing, so say for more bottom grung, and reducing the speed overall, I'm looking for the opposite, but feel a 17th front is possibly overkill, with my maths I work it out at reducing the revs by about 6%, too much i feel.
better to increase rear sproket by say 2 teeth, and like you say, theres no need for remapping
