F800GS Spotlights

Hi all hope someone can help? Im preping my brothers 800gs for a round the world trip & am having trouble getting the spotlights to work, they are wunderlich & im useing an AS6B switch ive tried wiring it to the cancel wire (white with a blue tracer) at the ecu block (as 1200gs fitment) & allso at the loom on the left of the bike but no luck they work if i tap the wire directly on the batt so am i trying to connect it to the wrong wire? The wire coming out of the handle bar switch seems to be blue with a white tracer but cant find that in loom! Any help much appreciated.

Yes thanks it was ment to go in tec not sure what happend
