F800GSA Replacement Handlebars

Fellow GSers,

After a recent incident involving me, my 800GSA and a white van man with observation deficit syndrome. I am now in need of new handlebars and am looking at aftermarket ones as oppose to the BMW issue ones.

Any of you wise and experienced people fitted non BMW bars to a 800GSA? If so which and where there any issues with swapping controls and so on?

Appreciate your input and advice.

Renthal RC High from Adventure Spec may be an idea. £72 so not too pricey

Gentlemen,

Thank you for your input. It has been clear that neither Renthal nor BMW are sure which bars fit the GSA in particular. Renthal list the 604-01 Fatbar for the 800GS, so I asked BMW if GS and GSA bars are interchangeable. They said yes, so I ordered the £80 Renthal Bars, as oppose to BMW parts at £200!

Lets hope they fit!

I rang Adventure Spec said their renthal would so I ordered a set myself fork springs next
