But Years and Years ago.
Made a pair of Mudguards for my DBD32 Goldie out of Ally sheet.

Years and years ago I made a front mudguard stay for a BSA in 2mm Aluminium. Needless to say I ended up sliding up the london road Hill in Leicester at 40Mph, upside down when the stay snapped and dropped the mudguard onto the tyre. The bolts dug in and turned the mudguard into a metal ski

Mine were still on the bike when I sold it, in 1969, needed the money to get married 1st time.
Should have kept the bike and ditched the 1st wife
