Fabrication anyone? - help needed

Hi to all,

I have the 2013 F800 GS with the vario pannier attachments.

My question is, can a bracket be fabricated to allow a standard pannier mounting ring to be fitted?

My goal is to mount standard panniers hopefully cheaper, without the need to buy new racks.

I have tried the search but couldn't find anything....

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Might be a good idea to post pics, just a thought. Any thing can be done.

Pics are getting sorted with measurements/angles etc.

There is possibly an opening for a company to supply these as the GS8 comes with the vario racks as part of the comfort package.
