Dudes, once again I come to the font for wisdom !
Ive got a hairline crack in the fairing of my trusty steed. Its at a point where one of the fitting bolts for the screen is located . The break is only about an inch long but I want to repair it from behind and obtain a smooth 'weld'. Can anyone suggest a suitable medium to apply to the rear of the crack so as to bond it. Is there something specific in the 'superglue' category which will bond fairing material ? Regards as ever.:thedummy

There is a "superglue" specific for plastic as such. It is to be found on the shelves of Halfords. It is recognisable by a tube with an activator... If possible, drill out the end/s of the crack to stop it propagating. There is also a hot weld technique requiring a hot iron & filler rod.

I have used the plastic glue stuff with success,it is very strong and held the panel together nicely,I filled and resprayed the outside and it lasted a few years before I sold the bike.
