I was not joking? The owner contacted me with a view to finding a foster parent for his basic. He would like someone who would value it in a non commercial context but obviously some commerce will take place as a secondary activity.
Basics are now scarce - if you want one (they are not everyone's "cup of tae") there is an "investment" opportunity on the horizon.
I already have an 800 G/S & am not "greedy".

You can tell your pal , i have a wee stable , with other Airheads , From a G/S to a GS & Various Guzzi Airheads .
I would appreciate it , i would even fancy one . I am a Greedy C**T , so that would probably disqualify me from ownership.
BUT ,,,,, I have never been involved in buying anything , where the money was a secondary consideration , this i would really like to try out ,, i reckon this would blow my Mind. Unfathomable , would be an understatement . I am saying this from a perspective of buying a lot of vehicles in my time from all manner of people..
Brings a few interesting purchases to mind ,and a smile to my face. It took me 9 months once to buy a Bus .. It brings a few sales to mind as well ,, I once sold a Bus to this guy that was going to save people ,
and introduce the non believers to God . I think he was arrested in Claremorris . Brilliant . Nutter .. But nothing wrong with his money.
