Sorry peeps but since gav unable to receive PM had to post this here
Gavin, just wanted to let you know that I took the bike out this afternoon with the low seat, not been back all that long.
Anyway, ground contact much better with this borrowed seat makin things feel safer on stopping and moving the bike whilst still sat on it, although I understand fully what you said about the riding position not as comfy, legs more bent up and takes some getting used to the positioning of the brake and gear shift, its amazing how much difference an inch or so lost can make.
Anyway I will keep my standard seat and am now on the hunt for a second hand low seat, will give motoworks a call next wk when they re-open but if you hear of one for sale in the meantime please can you keep me in mind, cheers
