Fascinating letter about BSA / Triumph Umberslade Hall days

A very interesting letter, and as it happens, mentions two people I came into contact with during my time in the motorcycle industry.
I worked between 1982 and 2000 on the Norton rotary project, at Shenstone in Staffs.

Brian Jones was a lovely man, and brilliant draughtsman.
Doug Hele needs no introduction of course, also a lovely man and brilliant engineer.

Both Doug and Brian (both sadly no longer with us) were in a league far higher than mine, but always treated people of any level with respect.
