little yellow warning triangle came on as normal warning i was low on fuel, stuck 3 litres in to get me home (only 3 litres cause i prefer to fill up with optimax and it wasn't a shell station) when display said "2 miles to go till empty" ......... the warning light has stayed on / the disply tells me "0 miles to go" even though i have just ridden 15 miles home.....

happened to anyone else? return in to the dealers for a check over?

The light comes on when you reach a certain level in the tank, it then counts down. This count down is based upon how far you read, rather than a tank level.

Maybe when you filled up with three litres, it wasn't enough to take the reading off the countdown phase, hence it has continued to count down.

I'd go and fill it up, then see what happens.

read the what?
(i'm english - i don't do "owners manuals")

thanks.

Damn, I thought that was just us 'Mericans that didn't read manuals? :D

Jim

Per the manual (for an RT but IIRC the GS is the same), you have to add at least 2 litres AND have at least 5 litres in the tank for the range to be recalculated.

Paul, what does the RTs manual say about the awnings and the blinds. ;) Conservatory and all that... ;) :D

You're just jealous of the double glazing in this weather.
