Fax Memory Clogged up By junk Faxes

I have a Brother T84 Fax, I get these "Junk" Faxes sent which take up about 30 pages plus the ink roll, ..Question, is there a way to clear the memory without having to print the whole lot out, I dont have a manual and have been on brothers website but no answer found,

Don't know about the fax machine but you should sign up for the fax preference service, same service as for phones.

My work did it several years ago and it eliminates 99% of unwanted/junk faxes.

When I was selling fax machines when they first came out in the 80's a dirty trick was:

If you found a customer trialing a fax... you'd get the number pop back to the office and fax a lenght of toilet roll.... because they used a roll of expensive paper that would upset the trial and allow a competitor (like me) to get in....

You could load a fax software prog into your computer and connect it to the fax line to run the junk stuff without printing. There are a number of free fax progs available, try googling

As PhilM says, the Fax Preference Service is the easy way to go.

We used to get about 8 a day until we registered. Now we get about 2 a month, which is bearable.
