Am I right in thinking it's fairly basic?
rear wheel removed
fill bung unscrewed
drain bung undone
oil removed
and 180-200ml put back in
o rings and crush washers replaced?
Is that it??

You don't say what year bike? Also check the flange for cracks unless you have had a new one under the recall or you know it's a steel one

The guy at my local bike shop told me this was the stuff I needed (silkolene boa 80w 90) was he right before I go putting it in
And does anyone know if I can also use this in my gearbox?

I did mine recently from information on this site and YouTube. I put the same oil in gearbox and final drive but I can't remember if it was the same as you mention. The final drive is very slow to fill so you need to be patient with it.

Should be. Just look on the bottle for Gl-5. Usually on the front. If it says gl-4 then don't use it.
180ml to go in after a normal drain.

220ml if you strip the Fd down.

If you can find a syringe it will make like lots easier.

Also has your drive got a fill bung and a drain?
