February Meeting

This months meeting is planned for the 13th feb
in Tafarn y Deri Ebenezer rd Pontarddulais
SA4 0YT for 7- 7.30 pm eating around 7.45.

Table is booked for approx 10 - 15 people.

The feedback was good the last time we went
so we thought we'd try it again.

No pics, unfortunately, an oversight on my part I'm afraid, because the damage was cracked front wheel rim, r/h/s riders footrest broken off, r/h/s passenger grab rail bent and scraped, r/h/s rear indicator lens broken, plastic under tray cracked around one securing screw and I suspect the rear sub-frame was bent. All these are bolt on parts and the rest of the bike was untouched, not a mark anywhere.

So imagine my surprise when I requested a copy of the estimate and received this......................

Sorry Big Al, it's a nice place and good food but it's too far to come for us - and yes I know others come even further and they are hero's - but 11/2 hours each way is too much for me.

I thinks it's to drive premiums upwards and to cover the cost of half a rainforests' worth of paperwork!!!

I was hoping to get it back by tomorrow, but not luck yet
