Anyone in Austria in the future doing the Grossglockner, if you happen to be in the area and use the Felbertauern tunnel there is a must stop at cafe at the north side of the tunnel.
Its just a small wooden building but does the best goulash soup I've ever tasted and excellent freshly gound coffee.( WELL WORTH STOOPING AT).Plus it is cheap !
Whilst in the area there is also an excellent and little known pass called the Staller Sattel which runs west from HUBEN on the A108 via Sankt Jacob into Italy. It comes out near BRUNICO. There are two lakes at the top one one each side of the border with excellent views and Pizza restaurants. A cracking road and well worth combining with the Grossglockner
