I see Cymarc make a deflector plate to stop the engine getting pitted/marked by debris thrown up by the front wheel.

Would a 'fender extender' so the same thing ?

Any one got one...... or either......or both ?

Needed, or just bling ?

Cheers.

The avant front mudguard extender is very good. Stops a lot of the crap being thrown at the front of the engine. Nippy Normans sell them.

Hi, many find that the fender extender does keep a lot of the crap off the bike.....but not completely. So many have a crud catcher (deflector) as well to protect the timing cover which can be prone to the paint lifting once chipped.

I have gone down the route of having both.....just listen to the stones pinging off the crud catcher when you go down a gravel track to know that it is doing its job.

If I were to go for just one it would be the crud catcher. I have a spare on for a 1200GSA in excellent condition for £30 plus P&P if you are interested.

Cheers

I have a new unused never fitted Cymarc touring crud catcher still in it's packet and also an as-new Pyramid Plastics front fender extender, which has not been drilled and it is as new.

I offered these to SiRich on the wanted page last night, although he said that he wants them I have given him my tel number but he has not rung me yet. If he does not want them they are yours for £60.00 inc post.

You can pm me or better still email me direct on [email protected]

My crud catcher and fender extender are now sold, thanks to all of those who have enquired.
