the fender extender goes at the bottom of the front mudguard to stop crap splashing onto the front of the engine. I think the bit you're after is the mudguard extension, go to the motorworks link at the top of this page and the part numbers are - extender MUA64390 £34:43 and stainless fitting kit - MUA64390A £7:05. hope this helps.

I have a 53 plate 1150 GS - I have seen examples of a extention to the front beak - Where can I get one? Tried TT and WL no joy- any help
