Hi all, I'm new on here and test rode a 6 month old 2010 GSA with 5000 miles on it. One of the genuine metal panniers has some bad scratches and some marks where it looks like something corrosive has marked it. Can you buy them singularly? Its the right side one as your sat on the bike, Also are the locks easily swapped over?.

I have always liked the GSA and really enjoyed the 2 hour test ride, I have an RD03 Africa twin in the garage and i thought that was big......... until today!. I have until monday morning to say yes/no to the 2010 its £12k but i'm getting a good px price and its got all the extras on it. In the mean time i already had another test ride booked tomorrow so i'll be on another GSA tomorrow :)

Let me know if you can buy panniers individually and what you think of a £12k second hand GSA.

Thanks

Yes and yes.

You alone know if you want to spend 12 grand.... Something though tells me that it's already burnt a hole in your pocket... So enjoy the bike.

Try a normal GS as well, ideally back-to-back. The GSA is great (literally) but will the extra weight/height/range be a benefit 100% of the time?
