My final drive was starting to fail again (for the saga see http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285676)
Jono at Adventure Bike Warehouse took the final drive off the bike (and also discovered that my steering head bearings were goosed as well
!) and sent the entire unit to Steve at Sciminger Engineering for a total rebuild.
Got my bike back today
and I would like to thank both Jono and Steve for their excellent work 
.
I feel very confident that my final drive will last a LOT longer this time.
