I generally favour suspension mode ROAD for comfort, and normally also use the ROAD riding mode. However I've decided to try the Dynamic riding mode to sharpen up the throttle response a bit now the bike is fully run in and I'm getting used to it. However, this would normally also back off the traction control settings. I don't particularly want this, but with the Pro dongle installed and Dynamic Pro replacing Dynamic, I've been able to go into the setup for that and change the DTC (dynamic traction control) mode from DYNA to ROAD, while keeping the engine mode as DYNA. I will be switching between ROAD and Dynamic Pro in my next few rides to see how that feels.

Might even get really adventurous and set the suspension mode to DYNA too! :bounce1

Good find :thumb Mine's been on the dynamic ... but nevery played around with additional setting. Will try this next time I take her out.

I've discovered that rain is really good for driving up gravel driveways ;)
However I've not played with the menu setup.
I have auto light on and I never know if the spots are on or not.

I think I need to read the manual.

I ride in Dynamic Pro mode for throttle response, and Road on the suspension, best of both worlds.:thumb

I leave in road all the time, I know what it feels like. If it's wet or raining I don't want a bike that responds differently to normal.

Have to say that rain to road really slows down the wheel spin. On the single tracks that I ride to work, on a wet morning going over the gravel/wet leaves etc its a lot less hairy in rain mode.
I know how it handles but an ecu is quicker than my brain.

I find traction control really obtrusive in Road mode as it cuts the ignition as soon as the front wheel even slightly leaves the road under hard acceleration in the lower three gears. It's much less obtrusive in Dynamic :thumby:

I have a 2014 GSA , ride in DYNAMIC all the time, whats difference between DYNAMIC and DYNAMIC PRO ??, ive got a wee red thing under the seat im guessing is for switching but whats the difference ??
