I had to fuel the beast first. The new filler is brilliant after you get to grips with the fuel cap. The tank fills fast, if you spill some fuel on the top red ring you have to wipe it up with a paper towel as there is no drain for it to go back in the tank.
The ride was great and the gearing is fantastic for riding in NZ. On tight hill starts the bike takes off quick with no riding the clutch. I was riding two up and playing with the ASC. The best setting was light off road and set to hard. The seat was a bit low for me on two up riding so I'll set it high next time.
Tire pressure was 38 psi in the front and 46 in the rear.
My wife said there was no wind buffeting on the back she said it was a lot better than the 1200rt.
